Aviation Recruitment Network Limited have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Counterbalance forklift Operative for a leading air freight ground handling company based in the heart of Gatwick Airport.\n\nYou will be required to work a mixture shift pattern working 2 days shifts followed by 2 nights shifts on a rotating shift pattern (4 on 4 off) including weekends between the hours of 06:00 am – 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm – 06:00 am.\n\nAs a Forklift Operative, you will receive:\n• All shifts £15.12 p/h rising to £16.12 p/h \n• Overtime after successful completion of probation, £22.17 - £29.56 p/h.\n• Free uniform.\n• Free Cargo Operative Training.\n• Weekly or monthly pay.\n• Free parking in ULEZ free zone.\n\nForklift Operative duties will include:\n• Using a forklift to load and unload parcels, freight & cargo from vehicles.\n• Build and break down aircraft pallets.\n• Build cargo onto aircraft units to airline specifications.\n• Working on a busy parcel sorting line moving parcels from aircraft containers.\n• Scanning cargo and completion of airfreight documentation.\n\nTo be considered for this Forklift Operative position you must have:\n• A valid counterbalance FLT licence or certifications.\n• Any experience as a Warehouse Operative, cargo operative would be highly desirable but not essential as training will be provided.\n\nSuccessful Forklift Operative will be subject to:\n• A 5-year checkable history for security vetting purposes.\n• Criminal Record check (refundable).\n• Good standard of numeracy and literacy and ability to pass DfT Cargo Operative Training.\n\nIf you feel you have the skills and experience for this Forklift Operative position, then contact us today!!\n\nAviation Recruitment Network Limited is acting as an Employment Business
