HVL Solutions is a growing provider of specialist installation and maintenance services across the UK. We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Planner / Scheduler to join our team in Pinxton, Derbyshire.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for coordinating engineers, managing work schedules, and ensuring excellent service delivery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and coordinate engineers’ daily and weekly workloads.
* Plan installation, maintenance, and service visits efficiently across multiple locations.
* Liaise with customers to arrange appointments and provide updates.
* Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as required.
* Manage and update scheduling systems and internal databases.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of work.
* Handle incoming service requests and prioritise urgent jobs.
* Produce reports and maintain accurate records of completed works.
* Support operational planning to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, coordination, or operational support role.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
* Experience using scheduling or job management software would be advantageous.
* A positive, proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
