Willen Hospice is seeking an exceptional Head of Governance, Performance & Improvement to shape and deliver the frameworks that will strengthen our resilience, accountability, and impact.
This is a pivotal opportunity to lead on corporate governance, policy and compliance, project oversight, and quality assurance—ensuring our hospice operates with the highest standards of transparency and effectiveness. What you'll do:
Lead the integration of governance and performance frameworks that underpin safe and effective care.
Develop systems to support high-quality project delivery and continuous improvement.
Work closely with the Director of Income Operations and Governance to bridge strategy and operational delivery.
Provide assurance to the Board of Trustees and sub-committees through timely, transparent reporting and compliance.
What you'll need:
* You will be a strategic, detail-orientated leader with substantial experience in governance and performance.
* You will bring a proven track record of building and embedding frameworks that drive assurance, improvement and innovation.
* You will be skilled at aligning policy, data and delivery with organisational strategy, you will also be an excellent communicator – able to engage stakeholders at all levels and translate insight into meaningful action.
