Reports to: Group Human Resources Director

Location: Travelling between Leicester LE3 5BZ and Nottingham NG8 6PY sites

Working hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Learning and Development (L&D) Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will deliver engaging training programmes that support employee development, fostering a learning culture aligned with business goals. What We Need From Yü

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

1. Delivering Training Programmes: Design and deliver high-quality training sessions, workshops, and courses. Tailor content to meet the needs of employees across departments, using various learning methods such as classroom training, e-learning, and blended learning.
2. Training Needs Assessment: Support identification of training requirements by liaising with department heads and HR. Help assess skill gaps and ensure training initiatives meet business needs.
3. Training Delivery: Lead and facilitate engaging training sessions for diverse learning styles. Provide both in-person and virtual training, ensuring content is relevant, interactive, and impactful.
4. Learning Materials Development: Develop and customise training materials, manuals, and e-learning content for accessibility and effectiveness.
5. Learning Programme Implementation: Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and communication to ensure smooth delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders for effective execution.
6. Evaluation and Feedback: Collect feedback and evaluate programme effectiveness. Use data to improve training initiatives.
7. Promote Continuous Learning: Encourage ongoing learning opportunities and foster a learning culture.
8. Support Career Development: Help identify career pathways and create tailored training interventions.
9. Compliance and Mandatory Training: Ensure delivery of mandatory training and compliance with regulations.
10. Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with department heads and managers to align training with business goals.
11. Technology Utilisation: Use learning technologies like LMS to deliver and track training, enhancing accessibility and experience.
12. Core Values Alignment: Ensure training initiatives reflect the organisation’s values and culture.


About Yü

If you have what it takes, you could be just what we’re looking for:

* CIPD Level 5 (L&D) qualification or equivalent and TAP Certified
* Experience in delivering corporate training sessions, workshops, or courses; previous L&D experience is essential
* Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
* Experience in instructional design and creating engaging training content
* Proficiency with e-learning platforms, LMS, and digital tools
* Experience in feedback collection and training evaluation
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Knowledge of current L&D trends and best practices
* Analytical skills to assess and improve training strategies
* Commitment to promoting organisational values within training programs
