Overview
We’re looking for a Social Media Executive to be the delivery engine of our Social Media team. You will support the Senior Account Directors and Account Directors by executing tasks required to drive client performance across social platforms, across paid and organic channels. This role focuses on execution and provides a clear pathway for career progression, with full training on the wider paid and organic social mix.
Responsibilities
* Social Strategy Execution: Auditing & Analysis (conduct social audits, competitor benchmarking, profile health checks). Compile raw data and initial findings for the Account Directors to use.
* Paid Campaign Management & Optimisation: Manage and continuously optimise paid social campaigns across a variety of clients and budgets.
* Content Management: Own content output, manage creative briefs for paid and organic clients, ensure platform-specific specs are met, and schedule posts across platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) with optimized copy and tags.
* Social Growth & Outreach: Community management by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and monitoring brand mentions for select organic clients.
* Influencer & Creator Outreach: Support the Strategy Lead on influencer outreach by researching and compiling lists and creative briefs.
* Reporting & Data: Compile performance reports for the Strategy Lead and Directors; pull analytics from Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, etc., to support client meetings and pitches.
* Ad-Hoc Analysis: Respond to quick-turnaround data requests to assess real-time performance and support strategy pivots.
* Training & Progression: Participate in training across Organic, Paid Social, Influencer, and Creative; develop understanding of how the entire social ecosystem works. Work with your Line Manager to build a Personal Development Plan (PDP) focused on soft skills and strategic thinking.
Requirements
* Agency experience in a Social Media or Digital Marketing role, ideally within an agency environment.
* Social Competence: Understanding of platform algorithms (e.g., what works on TikTok vs. Instagram).
* Paid Social Exposure: Knowledge of basic paid campaigns setup and familiarity with Meta Business Manager; comfortable managing budgets and understanding core paid campaign principles.
* Creative Basics: Experience with social copywriting, writing hooks, platform-specific CTAs, and understanding brand voice.
Desirable
* Tool Proficiency: Experience with core tools such as Social Management Tools, Motion, Canva, CapCut, and Google Analytics (GA4).
* Additional Channels: Knowledge of other ad managers such as TikTok, Reddit, and Pinterest.
* Multimedia Skills: Understanding of mobile-first video production and how technical elements (lighting, audio quality) impact organic reach.
