The opportunity
AJW Group is looking for a Supplier Executive to manage a set group of suppliers and spend, as agreed with the Head of Supplier Management. You’ll be responsible for achieving clear, measurable targets around supplier performance and cost savings.
Responsibilities include:
* Manage supplier performance and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Lead regular supplier meetings and visits, acting as a key point of contact for any issues.
* Drive improvements in cost, delivery, contract quality, and risk.
* Monitor KPIs, report on performance, and support cost-saving targets.
* Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
* Stay informed on market trends and support strategic supplier decisions.
* Support other tasks as needed by the Supplier Management team.
About you
* Experience in procurement, supplier management, and repairs
* Aviation industry experience preferred
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Confident analysing spend and market data
* Able to manage supplier performance and due diligence
* Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable with change
* Good at working with stakeholders and handling varied tasks
