A highly sought-after secondary school in North London is looking to recruit Exam Invigilators to support the smooth running of public and internal examinations.
This is a casual position suitable for those who are reliable, punctual, and confident working with young people in a formal setting. You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the integrity of the exam process, following government guidelines set by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), and adhering to the school’s internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Setting up examination rooms according to JCQ regulations
2. Distributing and collecting exam papers
3. Supervising students during exams to prevent malpractice
4. Reporting any irregularities or issues to the Exams Officer
Requirements:
5. Strong communication skills and clear spoken English
6. Basic proficiency in Maths and English
7. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
8. Flexibility to work during exam seasons (mainly May, June, and internal exam weeks)
Previous experience is welcome but not essential, as training will be provided. Lead Invigilator roles are available for experienced candidates.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
