This role will focus on:
Ensuring compliance withthe Company Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability Policies,reporting any potentially dangerous issues/faults to your direct Team Leader orProduction Manager including but not limited to maintaining a safe and cleanwork environment
To ensurequality products are produced in the required quantity, on time, and at thelowest possible cost, in a manner in keeping with the Quality, Safety, Healthand Environmental policies and procedures of the company
Demonstrate apositive attitude to training and personal development
Monitor theperformance of the process ensuring maximum output is achieved at all times
Carry out anddocument the correct quality control checks for each job performed, completingall production paperwork
Work as a teamto ensure departmental targets, company targets and customer deadlines areachieved
1. Picking and packing Sales Orders in the Stores Dept.
2. Picking parts and tube from locations in stores to be built into Hoses by the Assembly department
3. Packing parts and tube for export to our distributors and self-assemblers around the world
4. Issuing parts and tube on Transform orders to other internal departments
5. Weekly stocktake of parts and tube in Stores
6. Retrieving tube from racking using VNA articulated Fork Lift Trucks
7. Use of Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck in the Cold Stores and yard
8. Housekeeping, keeping the department safe, tidy and presentable
To be successful in this role, youwill need:
9. GCSE Maths and English
10. Warehouse/Stores experience
11. Computer literate
12. Good communication skills
13. Positive mental attitude
14. Counterbalance fork lift truck
15. VNA articulated fork lift truck
16. Driving licence
17. Engineering background
18. Stock control & Goods-in experience
19. Must possess a positive working attitude
20. Ability to work well as part of team and communicate with other workers
21. The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and have a keen eye for detail
