About the Job
This is a full-time, office-based role for a Trainee Legal Cashier. Working closely with the in-house Accountant, you’ll play a key part in maintaining accurate and compliant financial records, ensuring all transactions are managed efficiently and in line with regulatory standards.
Duties
* Posting daily transactions to client and office ledgers
* Monitoring and processing online bank activity
* Reconciling bank accounts in accordance with SRA rules
* Processing and paying disbursements and staff expenses
* Managing receipts and payments
* Assisting with completion statements
* Handling supplier invoices and payments
* Managing client-to-office account transfers
* Calculating and posting client account interest
* Undertaking credit control duties
* Scanning and filing financial documents
* Supporting the team with ad-hoc finance tasks as required
About the Successful Applicant
You will be detail-oriented with strong numeracy skills and experience using Excel and Word. Will you need a methodical approach to data entry and financial processing. Accuracy, reliability, and good communication skills are key.
