As our Senior Project Controller, you will take ownership of project governance and controls within our Engineering department. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring our multi-disciplinary projects are accurately represented in Primavera (P6) and comply with all internal funding and change management gateways.

Main Responsibilities
You'll be our P6 champion, ensuring every project in your portfolio is an accurate reflection of reality. Your day-to-day will involve:
Mastering the Programme: Updating monthly project programmes on P6, ensuring they are accurate, and having the confidence to challenge project teams where data or progress seems inconsistent.
Governance & Control: Upholding company policy by managing funding requests (CER) and change requests (CR), ensuring everything is baselined and managed effectively.
Performance Insight: Running Earned Value reports, including SPI and CPI, and identifying any schedule or cost variances before they become issues.
Strategic Planning: Creating and executing project control plans that support our contract requirements and ensure successful delivery.
Contractor Liaison: Reviewing contractor programmes to ensure they comply with NEC contracts and attending site progress meetings to keep things moving.
Safety First: Supporting our H&S initiatives by visiting sites and identifying any safety concerns through Safety Observations-because keeping our people safe is our top priority.What you'll need
We are looking for a technical specialist who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. To hit the ground running, you'll need:
P6 Expertise: Formal Primavera (P6) training to a professional level.
Industry Experience: Demonstrable experience as a Project Controller within the construction or infrastructure industry.
Technical Knowledge: Expert planning and scheduling skills, with a deep understanding of Earned Value, VOWD, and Change Management.
Communication Skills: Excellent report writing and the ability to communicate complex data clearly to different stakeholders.
Delivery Focus: A strong team ethic and the organisational skills to manage a multi-disciplinary portfolio.
Safety Awareness: A solid understanding of the Health and Safety regulations that impact infrastructure projects.Employees are required to be flexible and to be prepared to perform duties and other tasks within their capabilities.
