The role of the Accounts Assistant within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry involves managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of purchase ledger records. Description

The key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:

* Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Maintain up-to-date records of all purchase ledger transactions.
* Prepare payment runs and ensure compliance with company procedures.
* Handle supplier queries efficiently and professionally.
* Assist with month-end processes and reporting requirements.
* Support the wider accounting team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

* Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
