Overview
Civil Site Manager – RSE – Cumbernauld, Scotland, United Kingdom
Permanent, full‑time. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for controlling and managing all RSE activities on site, including sub‑contractor activities and ensuring all works are performed in accordance with the specifications and relevant safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Instruct, direct, control, and allocate work to trade operatives.
* Ensure all site activities comply with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management requirements.
* Keep all documentation up to date, filed correctly, and available for inspection.
* Plan and organise work to be carried out safely and efficiently.
* Carry out competence assessments, adhering to the specified timetable.
* Discuss work matters with trade operatives and contractors.
* Liaise with other departmental sections and trades.
* Liaise day‑to‑day with other contractors engaged on site.
* Update the Project Manager with contract progress and future resource requirements.
Qualifications
* Experience within the water sector highly advantageous; other industrial sectors considered.
* Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience in ducting, foundations, and earthworks/groundworks.
* Demonstrable supervisory level experience.
* SMSTS, First Aid at Work, CSCS.
* Awareness of all Health & Safety practices.
* Ability to manage changing priorities on site.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
