A market-leading security systems distributor is looking for a Technical Product Engineer to join their successful team in Ashton Under Lyne. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically-minded individual who is passionate about electronics, computing and networking, and is looking to develop their career within electronic security. You'll be working on the company's in-house electronic security brand that offers a wide-ranging portfolio of CCTV and security solutions. This role provides exposure to a diverse product range and the chance to work closely with experienced engineers, product developers and key partners across the business. Role Responsibilities As a Technical Product Engineer, you will: Manage and support a wide range of CCTV and electronic security products, including IP, analogue, software, app-based and mechanical technologies Carry out product evaluation, testing and validation, ensuring performance meets specifications and third-party compatibility requirements Identify technical issues, investigate root causes and contribute to effective solutions Provide structured feedback to support product development and continuous improvement Create and maintain technical documentation, guides and supporting media for customers and internal teams Track product changes, versions and activity accurately Collaborate with product, engineering and other internal teams to share knowledge, gather feedback and support new feature requirementsRewards As a Technical Product Engineer, you will receive: A starting salary between £32,500 - £42,500 (depending on experience) Profit share bonus 25 days annual holiday Pension and life assurance with up to 6% matched contribution Ongoing training, development and long-term career progression opportunities Office-based role, with regular use of on-site lab, where the main focus is hands-on product testing and evaluation Working hours are Monday -Thursday 09:00 -17:30, Friday 09:00 -17:00Requirements To be successful in this Technical Product Engineer role, you should have: A strong interest in technology, electronics, computing and networking Relevant technical qualifications and experience in a technical or engineering-focused role would be ideal A methodical, analytical approach with strong attention to detail Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levelsThink you have what it takes?
