We are keen to meet people who have experience in operations, events, studio management, Ad agency background / PR events experience, and all round production roles.
Purpose: As Operations and Events Lead you will work across departments to ensure smooth and high-quality day-to-day operations and customer service across the brand, while also supporting the planning, coordinating, and executing of events that drive revenue and deliver world class guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
>Guest/Brand Experience
* Champion guest experience standards across the restaurant, ensuring every interaction reflects the restaurant's ethos.
* Gather, track, and act upon guest feedback to continually improve communications and guest experience.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction, loyalty, and engagement.
* Ensure consistency in tone and communication across all guest touchpoints (emails, menus, confirmations, etc.).
* Manage Plates webshop.
* Support effective internal comms to nurture & maintain our positive team culture.
>Operational Excellence
* Develop, implement, and maintain systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive efficiency and consistency.
* Audit and refine internal processes, ensuring alignment with Plates standards.
* Support the wider management team in streamlining workflows between front of house, kitchen, and admin teams.
>Team Management
* Manage and mentor the Marketing Intern setting clear objectives and development goals.
* Work closely with the Head Chef, General Manager, and Founder to align event strategies with brand vision and help transfer that vision into live events.
* Foster a collaborative, pro-active, positive, and professional team environment.
>Promotion and Marketing Support
* Support restaurant marketing initiatives ensuring they operationally work for the restaurant and are logistically sound.
* Coordinate photography and storytelling opportunities around events and guest experiences.
* Contribute ideas for growing brand awareness, guest engagement, and community initiatives.
>Event Management Comms / Sales
* Lead all aspects of the events program — from initial enquiry to organising set up, execution and post-event client follow-up and invoicing.
* Develop and manage event packages, proposals, and pricing structures aligned with the restaurant's brand and profitability goals.
* Handle all event bookings, client relationships, and logistics to ensure seamless delivery.
* Proactively seek new event opportunities (private dining, collaborations, brand partnerships).
* Prepare detailed event briefs for the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure clarity and flawless execution.
>Other
* Managing supplier relationships in relation to renovations and productions, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, within budget and within agreed timeframes.
* Providing administrative and accounts support where required
