As a Sub-Assembly Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced technicians and engineers to learn the intricacies of assembling and disassembling components of our Formula One race cars. This apprenticeship will provide you with invaluable hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and an understanding of the operational aspects of a Formula 1 team. · Assisting in the assembly and sub-assembly of components according to engineering specifications and instructions. · Learning how to interpret technical drawings and production instructions. · Gaining practical experience with various hand tools and assembly techniques. · Supporting the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. · Participating in training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge related to motorsport engineering. · Working collaboratively with team members to ensure high quality and efficiency in the assembly process. · Assisting in troubleshooting and problem-solving during the assembly processes. · Following all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements Driven by high performance: What do you need to bring to the team? · Passion for motorsport and a strong desire to start a career in Formula One mechanics. · Basic understanding of mechanical systems and principles. · Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment. · Detail-oriented approach with a focus on precision and quality. · Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced racing environment. · Effective communication skills and a positive attitude towards professional development. · High school diploma or equivalent qualification. · Previous experience or education in motorsport or mechanical engineering is a plus. · Commitment to safety guidelines and best practices in a workshop setting.
