Your new role
Based in a beautifully renovated building with views of the Lake District, the Finance team supports both the training division and a portfolio of hospitality operations. Due to continued growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a talented Management Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, analysing performance against budget, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Producing monthly management accounts
2. Performing balance sheet reconciliations
3. Preparation of group VAT return
4. Providing regular functional analysis
5. Assisting with the year-end audit processes
6. Supporting budgeting and forecasting
7. Ensuringpliance with internal financial controls
8. Maintain general ledger integrity and ensurepliance with accounting policies
9. Monthly reconciliation of intepany transactions across the group

What you'll need to succeed
10. AAT qualified, working towards a relevant qualification or QBE candidates are all considered
11. Proven experience in a similar role
12. Great interpersonal andmunication skills
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
14. An aptitude for IT – knowledge of intermediate Excel and accounting systems essential
15. High attention to detail and organisational skills
What you'll get in return
16. Annual Salary up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
17. 35 days of annual leave, including bank holidays.
18. Full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday 9-5pm, 1 hour lunch
