The Sales Manager will
Report to the General Manager
Be responsible for the day to day sales activity for the hotel
Account manage existing accounts and maximise sales from those accounts, this will equate for 60% of your time
Develop new business in effect 40% of your time
Have a good understanding of Corporate and MICE sectors as this is predominantly the base of the hotels business, knowledge of other sectors would be an asset
Both visit clients and invite them into the hotel
Only concentrate on sales activity
As Sales Manager you will have
Experience of being a Sales Manager as a minimum.
A strong commercial outlook, be sales and revenue driven, determined to achieve results, and be able to demonstrate your network knowledge
High standards, a can-do attitude, be results driven and have excellent attention to detail.
The flexibility to visit clients
Excellent customer care, account management and negotiation skills.
You must have worked in hospitality, currently live in the UK to apply for this role and have the right to work.
