Lead the Perioperative Team in Churchill/Horton/Women's Theatres as they work to deliver exemplary clinical practice to all patients within the Theatre environment.
Contribute to a climate where staff members appropriately question and challenge practice, and where decision-making can be openly debated, discussed, and escalated when required.
Work with the education team to ensure all staff are competent and capable practitioners, improve the quality of the learning environment by providing support, supervision, educational, and professional development opportunities for all within the practice setting.
Act as a positive, professional role model in promoting clinical excellence and offer expert, professional development advice, ensuring practice is patient-centered and evidence-based.
You must have experience working in theatres at a senior level, possessing proven leadership and organizational skills, and be a highly effective role model within the clinical area.
You should have a proven track record of managing change within the clinical setting and be able to influence practice.
You will need to be flexible and adaptable with excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with our current Anaesthetic & Recovery Sister and other colleagues across SuWOn Theatres to support safe staffing, governance, and health & safety in the Perioperative Environment.
This post will require some weekend and cross-site working to support the Senior Theatre Staffing Rota.
