This is a two-term maternity cover position, offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a strong Early Years team in a thriving and fully subscribed nursery setting.

About the Role
This part-time Nursery Teacher role runs from Wednesday to Friday each week, working alongside an experienced and collaborative Early Years team. The position is focused on high-quality classroom teaching, with no planning required, allowing you to concentrate on delivering engaging and nurturing learning experiences.
You will play a key role in supporting children at the very start of their educational journey, helping to build strong foundations in a stimulating and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences in Nursery
• Support childrens early learning across all areas of the EYFS framework
• Create a calm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with the Early Years team to support childrens development and wellbeing
• Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families
• Promote inclusive practice and support all learners to thrive
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Nursery or Early Years
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and EYFS practice
• A warm, patient, and nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and adaptable attitude
Desirable
Experience working within a faith-based or community-focused school setting
Confidence working within a well-established team structure

This is an ideal role for an experienced Nursery Teacher seeking a rewarding, focused teaching position within a supportive and welcoming school community.
Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to M4.
