About the role:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Independent Financial Advisor to join a well-established and reputable financial planning practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser who is passionate about delivering high-quality, client-centred financial planning.
You will work with an existing client bank while also developing new long-term relationships, providing holistic advice across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning. The role is supported by an experienced paraplanning and administration team, allowing you to focus on client engagement and financial strategy.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, ethical, and confident in delivering clear and personalised advice that helps clients make informed decisions about their financial future.
Key Responsibilities:
7. Provide independent financial advice tailored to clients’ individual needs and goals
8. Build strong and lasting client relationships, maintaining regular contact and reviews
9. Conduct thorough fact-finding, risk assessments, and suitability analysis
10. Create comprehensive financial plans and recommendations across pensions, investments, retirement, and protection
11. Maintain accurate and compliant client records in line with FCA regulations
12. Work collaboratively with paraplanners and administrators for efficient case progression
13. Keep up to date with financial legislation, products, and market trends
14. Proactively identify opportunities for new business and referrals
Who We’re Looking For:
15. Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) – essential
16. Demonstrable experience as an IFA or Financial Adviser
17. Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and holistic financial planning
18. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
19. Highly ethical, client-focused, and committed to delivering top-tier advice
20. Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own diary and workload
21. Confident using financial planning software and CRM systems
22. Ideally progressing towards Chartered status (desirable but not essential)
