We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our clients Azure-based container infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in enabling continuous integration and delivery, ensuring system reliability, and embedding security best practices across a greenfield technology platform.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in cloud-native environments, understands the nuances of container orchestration, and is passionate about automation, scalability, and secure delivery.
Key Outcomes
* Deliver and maintain a secure, scalable Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environment.
* Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for containerised workloads.
* Ensure compliance with cloud security policies and access controls.
* Support containerisation of legacy applications and new services.
* Enable monitoring, alerting, and incident response for container workloads.
* Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and team knowledge sharing.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience with Azure cloud platforms.
* Hands-on expertise with:
* Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)
* Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD automation.
* Experience with secure cloud architecture and compliance frameworks.
* Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
* Experience with Azure Arc for hybrid/multi-cluster scenarios
* Familiarity with container-native security and governance tools
* Exposure to regulated environments
Requirements
* Hands-on experience in Azure cloud environments and container orchestration.
* Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins).
* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates).
* Understanding of cloud security, governance, and regulatory compliance.
* Strong communication and ability to mentor others.
* Experience with Azure Arc and hybrid/multi-cluster scenarios is a plus.
