Netball With Lucy, led by experienced coach Lucy Harvey, provides fun and engaging netball coaching for all ages and abilities. From one-to-one and small group sessions to after-school clubs, toddler classes, and holiday camps, our aim is to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for the game.
Our coaching goes beyond the basics; we focus on teamwork, resilience, strategy, and sportsmanship, helping every player grow both on and off the court.
About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Netball Coach to join our coaching team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive sessions across a variety of programmes, including after-school clubs, toddler sessions, and holiday camps.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a coach who is passionate about developing players of all ages and abilities, from introducing toddlers to movement and ball skills to nurturing young players' love for the game in schools and camps.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver fun, safe, and progressive netball sessions for children.
* Lead after-school clubs in line with school timetables.
* Deliver engaging toddler sessions, focusing on early movement, coordination, and ball-handling skills.
* Support and run netball programmes at holiday camps.
* Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation, learning, and enjoyment.
* Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards are upheld at all times.
* Communicate effectively with parents, schools, and the coaching team.
Requirements:
* Experience coaching netball (or multi-sport with a strong netball background).
* Minimum [insert required qualification, e.g. UKCC Level 1/2 in Netball Coaching or equivalent].
* Enthusiastic, reliable, and confident working with children of different ages and abilities.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
* Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications (or willingness to complete training).
Desirable:
* Experience delivering toddler or early years sport sessions.
* Experience coaching in school or camp environments.
* A full driving license and/or access to transport.
