️ Air Export Specialist – High Value & Fine Art
Location: Feltham
Salary: £45,000
We are recruiting for an experienced Air Export Specialist to join a well-established freight forwarder renowned for handling high-value cargo and fine art shipments. This is a full start-to-finish position, offering complete ownership of the export process — from quotation through to final billing — with a strong focus on compliance, precision, and white-glove service.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end air export movements, ensuring the secure and compliant transportation of time-sensitive and high-value consignments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing full-cycle air export operations (road and ocean experience advantageous)
* Preparing and submitting complex export customs entries, including Home Use, End Use, Bonded movements, IPR, OPR, Carnets, and Returned Goods Relief
* Handling shipments requiring enhanced care, discretion, and regulatory compliance
* Liaising closely with airlines, specialist carriers, galleries, private clients, and internal teams
* Producing accurate, competitive quotations and completing final billing
* Ensuring all documentation, security protocols, and regulatory requirements are met without exception
* Proactively monitoring shipments to guarantee smooth, on-time delivery
About You
* Minimum 4 years’ air export experience within freight forwarding
* Demonstrable experience handling high-value, sensitive, or specialist cargo preferred
* Strong and stable employment history
* Confident with full customs processes, including special procedures
* Highly detail-oriented with a compliance-first mindset
* Calm, solutions-driven approach in time-critical environments
* Able to work autonomously while maintaining exceptional client service standards
