Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Manager to join our team. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading a children's home in Newmarket, UK, providing care and support to young people aged 12-18 with mental health needs.
* Develop comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, social, and educational needs of the young people in your care.
* Build and manage a high-performing team by recruiting skilled staff and implementing personalized development plans.
* Foster open communication with the young people in your care, involving them in their own care planning and decision-making.
* Assign key workers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Maintain high standards of care delivery through regular monitoring and evaluation.
* Handle complaints and concerns professionally and promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A full driving license.
* Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and budgeting skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including young people, families, and professionals.
* Understanding of trauma and effective strategies for managing challenging behavior.
