Class 2 (HGV C) Driver - Doncaster
The Best Connection is currently recruiting a Class 2 (HGV C) Driver for our client based in Doncaster.
Job Description
You will be responsible for the delivery of tiles and kitchen/bathroom products to:
* Residential properties
* Construction sites
* Commercial premises
Duties include:
* Safe and efficient driving in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
* Use of electric pallet trucks to assist with unloading pallets
* Completing daily vehicle checks
* Adhering to health & safety standards, the Highway Code, and all road and vehicle regulations
Requirements
This role would suit candidates who:
* Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Have a Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
* Have at least 12 months' recent Class 2 driving experience
* Have experience in a similar role (desirable)
* Are comfortable with manual handling
* Have experience using a tail lift and/or electric pallet truck (beneficial)
Working Hours
* Start time: 07:00
* Finish time: Approximately 15:30-16:00
