We are seeking a dynamic and commercially focused Business Unit Manager for our Nevill Long drywall specialism. This role aims to drive performance and lead a successful sales team at our East London branch. The focus will be on achieving sales and profitability targets across key market sectors, nurturing a stable client base, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve and surpass sales and margin targets in designated sectors
* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
* Lead, motivate, and develop the Internal Sales team
* Collaborate with External Sales, Operations, and Suppliers to enhance commercial performance
* Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and pricing initiatives
* Ensure compliance with company procedures, including credit control and health & safety standards
* Support recruitment, training, and development through the Encon Academy
* Drive continuous improvement in customer service and team performance
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a confident, results-oriented individual with a customer-first mindset. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and people management, with relevant industry experience.
