Annual Salary: £22,102.72-£24,103.93 actual salary (dependent on experience and qualifications) plus £1,000 welcome bonus

This setting is a bespoke provision for 11-16-year-olds with SEMH needs. It combines the strongest aspects of both mainstream and specialist environments to create a place where young people can thrive and work towards meaningful futures. Main purpose of the role:
To support pupils with their learning and wellbeing, ensuring each child has the best possible opportunity to reach their full potential in a safe, caring environment. This may include assisting with care needs and using positive behaviour-management strategies tailored to the individual.
Key duties:
* Build warm, supportive relationships that help pupils feel safe, engaged, and ready to learn.
* Promote independence, personal development, and consistently high expectations of behaviour.
* Assist in delivering high-quality, differentiated learning activities across a broad and balanced curriculum.
* Support the Class Teacher in the day-to-day running of the classroom.
* Adapt flexibly to the changing needs of the school to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Support pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical, and spiritual development.
* Work effectively within a multi-professional team.
* Under the guidance of senior staff, complete required documentation relating to incidents, health, behaviour, and other records.
