You will be working at GSK’s Montrose manufacturing facility whereyou’llbe learning how tomaintainand improve our pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and facilities. We manufacture and supply reliable, high-quality medicines and vaccines to meet patients’ needs and drive our performance. Our network of 37 medicines and vaccines manufacturing sites delivered 1.7 billion packs of medicines and 409 million vaccine doses in 2024 to help make a positive impact on the health of millions of people. Our supply chain is not just core to our operations;it’svital tobringingour innovations to patients as quickly,efficientlyand effectively as possible. Technology is transforming how we manufacture medicines and vaccines, enabling us to increase the speed,qualityand scale of product supply.

Education required:
1. Must have/be predicted to achieve a minimum of five Scottish National 5s at grade A-C (or five Standard grades at grades 1-3) (or equivalent)
2. Must include Math's at a B or above, a Science subject and English at C or above

Ahead together with tailored training and career development
You will be working at GSK’s Montrose manufacturing facility whereyou’llbe learning how tomaintainand improve our pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and facilities, helping to ensure we can make the medicines and vaccines that we supply to patients.
This is a 4-year practical, hands-on apprenticeship whereyou’llbe working towards a level 3 Engineering/Electrical/InstrumentTechnician qualificationthrough Forth Valley College
You will have a buddy and/or mentor who will help you to prepare for joining GSK and who will be there to offer support and guidance throughout your apprenticeship
What will you do?
6. Learn how tomaintainequipment and carry out routine maintenance
7. Fault find,diagnoseand resolve breakdowns
8. Recommend and action improvements
9. Help install and test new equipment
10. Learn business skills with other apprentices
11. Complete community projects as part of a team
12. You will work along site highly trained and highly motivated people
13. You will be trained on how tomaintainthe plant on our 47-acre (about twice the area of Chicago's Millennium Park) site
14. You will attend College one day a week to obtain the relevant qualifications for your Apprenticeship

15. Starting salary of £18,400per year, increasing to £25,400after 1 yearally,)+annual bonus based on company performance.
