 
        
        Overview
To support the delivery of the SRP Project, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join the design team based in Warrington. The SRP Project is currently in the Construction phase and includes procurement, manufacture, works test, installation and commissioning. This role provides design support activities to the supply chain and completion of outstanding design scope from earlier project phases.
Responsibilities
 * Manage and direct designers in the delivery of HVAC nuclear containment systems, including plant and equipment drawings and documents (e.g. Ventilation Flow Diagrams / Basis of Design / Schedules / Specifications).
 * Prioritise work to support manufacturing.
 * Experience and working knowledge of plant layout, setup, installation and alignment of plant and equipment for works testing and site installation.
 * Interact with multi-discipline engineers to ensure complete multi-disciplinary design interactions/interfaces are addressed.
 * Provide support to resolution of manufacturing, inspection and test Technical Queries / production permits / concessions.
Qualifications
 * Experience in the use of AutoCAD.
 * Experience in production and checking of Design Justification Reports (DJRs).
 * Ability to retrieve information from DM desktop and other record management systems.
 * Experience in designing in a nuclear / highly regulated environment.
 * Experience and working knowledge of CDM, SoMSR, PUWER & LOLER.
 * Experience with Pipenet software.

The Project
The Sellafield Product & Residue Store (SPRS) Retreatment Plant (SRP) Project will provide a facility that receives Special Nuclear Material (SNM) from existing stores across the Sellafield site and processes it into a form suitable for safe and secure storage until 2120.
Compensation and Terms
£50,211 per year - estimated. Part-time options and flexible working arrangements may be discussed.
