Job Description To receive, process, calculate, prepare, barcode labels, and deliver/discard complex infant formula, human milk (mother’s and donor milk), and research study feedings for the patients of the WIC Neonatal ICU in accordance with the Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA) Best Practice for Expressing, Storing, and Handling Human Milk in Hospitals, Homes, and Child Care Settings guidelines and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) Infant and Pediatric Feedings\: Guidelines for Preparation of Human Milk and Formula in Health Care Facilities. To perform nutrition risk screening and other duties to assist the clinical dietitian in providing optimum nutrition care for adult patients in the acute care and ICU setting. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university. Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or science-based focus preferred. Certified as completed the Food Handler Training Course by the Jefferson County Department of Health within twenty-one (21) days from date of employment required.
