Business Analyst (Change) – 12-month FTC

We're hiring a Business Analyst to join a high-performing Change Team delivering a clearly defined transformation portfolio across regulatory, operating-model, and technology initiatives. You'll work end-to-end—shaping business cases, mapping processes, assessing solutions, and supporting delivery into live.

What you'll do
* Partner with stakeholders to
elicit requirements
(workshops/interviews) and translate them into
user stories
with clear
acceptance criteria
.
* Document
as-is
processes (flow charts, data flows, BPMN) and design
to-be
processes aligned to outcomes.
* Build
business cases
and recommendations; evaluate solution options and
data/reporting/analytics
impacts.
* Produce project artefacts (project plans, KPIs, system impact assessments) and support
testing/UAT
.
* Track benefits and
measure post-implementation success
, lifting the benchmark of analysis quality.
* Collaborate closely with
Change, Technology & Data
teams from
ideation to implementation
.
What you'll bring
* Proven BA experience
in
insurance
(ideal) or
financial services
(minimum) within regulated settings.
* Strength in
stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, critical thinking, and prioritisation
.
* Hands-on experience in
software delivery
and
business process re-engineering
; comfortable in
Agile
(user stories, backlogs, iterative delivery).
* Excellent documentation across
as-is/to-be
, requirements, and acceptance criteria; detail-oriented with a big-picture view.
* A
self-starter
mindset—comfortable operating independently in a complex, dynamic environment.
The package
* Salary:

£70,000
per annum (12-month
