Your Benefits
* Hourly pay - £28-33 per hour
* Flexible Working Hours to suit your lifestyle- 30 hours per week / 9am - 4pm (Mon - Fri)
* Variety of Settings: Work in schools, students' homes, or public spaces (e.g., libraries).
The Role in Detail
* Subjects: Deliver sessions in Maths, English, and/or Science (plus potential other subjects).
* Students: Work with students across all Key Stages, from Year 1 (KS1) to Post-16 .
* Curriculum: Must follow the current UK National Curriculum .
* Focus: Provide individualised support focusing on core academic subjects, social development, and building self-esteem.
* SEN Inclusion: Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students is required; you must adjust approaches for inclusivity.
* Hours: Flexible sessions ranging from 1 hour up to 15 hours per week. each child it is 15 hours hours per week and the tutor can tutor 2 children a week (so max of 30 hours per week)
* Commitment: Opportunity for long-term, meaningful relationships with students.
Key Requirements
* Proven Tutoring Experience: QTS (Qualified teacher status) Especially in Maths, English, and/or Science.
* Curriculum Knowledge: Strong grasp of the UK National Curriculum
* SEN Experience: Demonstrated ability to support SEN students.
* DBS: Must hold a DBS check on the Update Service, or be willing to apply immediately.
* Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
