Responsibilities
As Head of Department you will provide leadership, coordination and planning for the growth, development and delivery of a high‑quality curriculum. You will lead, support and develop staff, uphold accountability for student outcomes, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You will also help shape strategy, drive continuous improvement and model professional practice.
Qualifications and Requirements
Previous experience within the FE sector in a curriculum leadership role (course leader or equivalent or above) is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work to high accuracy, and a willingness to learn and develop. Candidates will be required to provide unspent convictions information and may need to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure.
