The role
Senior Quantity Surveyor | Mixed-Use Residential Development | East London | Up to £90,000
I'm working with a contractor who are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor for what is set to become the largest project in the company's history.
The project is currently in PCSA and offers the opportunity to take commercial ownership of a major residential package on a long-term, high-profile development. If it's not for you but someone suitable comes to mind, referrals are always appreciated.
The Project
£70m mixed-use Higher Risk Building (HRB) development
• Approximately 35-month programme
• Located in East London
• Traditional contract
• Residential and leisure centre development
• 31 private residential units
• Approximately 10,000m² floor area
• Currently in PCSA phase
The Role
Commercial lead for the residential element of the scheme
• Managing procurement, valuations, variations, CVRs and final accounts
• Working closely with the Commercial Manager and project delivery team
• Involvement from PCSA through to project completion
• Site-based role with occasional office attendance
• Opportunity to influence commercial strategy from an early stage
What they're looking for
Senior Quantity Surveyor background
• Main contractor experience preferred
• Residential or mixed-use project experience
• Strong procurement and package management capability
• Comfortable taking ownership of a major project package
• Commercially astute and delivery focused
