Maintenance Planner
£50k plus benefits – 4 days out of 5 on site.
A Lead Maintenance Planner role with responsibilities across maintenance planning, CMMS governance and engineering data accuracy across the site. Serves as key link between engineering, production, technical and supply chain.

Role Highlights
* Plan and schedule maintenance works, both improvements and corrective actions.
* Own, develop and continuously improve the site's CMMS system.
* Act as site expert for CMMS.
* Coordinate work with production, engineers, supervisors and contractors to reduce downtime.
* Maintain documentation and records for audits and compliance reviews.
* Analyse downtime and recurring equipment issues.
* Produce engineering KPI reports and live dashboards.
* Liaise with on‑site stores team to ensure spares availability and stock accuracy.
* Support ordering of critical and high‑value components.
* Create, update and control work instructions, SOPs and job plans in engineering.
Background and Qualifications
* Maintenance planning or maintenance engineering background.
* Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or a process‑driven environment.
* Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems.
* Experience with PPM scheduling, engineering documentation and spare parts systems.
* Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator able to liaise across all levels of the business.
* Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Ability to work independently in a busy manufacturing environment.
