Job Overview
Talison Group (TAG) is looking for an engineer to lead auto mower products at our Evesham site in Worcestershire. If you have experience working on small‑engine machinery and can demonstrate fault‑finding and diagnostic experience in electrical systems, and have represented premium machinery brands and know what it takes to keep them running, we encourage you to read on. The role involves installation and setup of auto mowers at customers’ homes, ongoing support and backup, and PDI, service and repair of dealer‑affiliated homeowner and garden equipment. You will work at the local dealership and from customer sites around the area.
Responsibilities
* Install and set up auto mower systems at customer locations.
* Provide ongoing support and backup for auto mowers.
* Perform PDI, service and repair of homeowner and garden machinery.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring robust solutions.
* Engage customers, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Attend local dealership and customer sites as required.
Requirements
* Ability to pass a mandatory enhanced DBS check.
* Experience working with homeowner and garden machinery, particularly competitively branded equipment.
* Strong mechanical and electrical understanding, with aptitude for diagnosing faults.
* Basic IT competency.
* Strong motivation to deliver results for customers.
Working Hours & Compensation
0900 to 1700 Monday to Friday with rotation for weekends. Up to £40,000 base salary, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Overtime rates: 1.5× for 40 hours or more, 2× for Sundays and Bank Holidays.
