Shifts: 4 on 4 off pattern - 2 Days & 2 Nights

About the Role
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with both electrical and mechanical expertise to join our team. This role involves carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Work is both reactive and planned maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical and mechanical fault finding, diagnosis and repair
Working on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, sensors, inverters and control panels
Supporting machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime
Planning and carrying out preventative maintenance during quieter production periods
Ensuring smooth and safe operations
Continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Be a fully multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
Have experience within planned and reactive maintenance
Ideally have worked within food production or FMCG environments
Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Key Skills/Qualifications
Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Engineering
Strong electrical fault-finding skills (motors, drives, PLCs - basic interrogation preferred)
Solid mechanical maintenance experience
Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
