Role: Operations Manager Location: Barnstaple Contract: Full time, Permanent Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience Acorn by Synergie are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day ecommerce operations. Key Responsibilities Handle all customer service emails and phone calls across our two main brands Manage customer returns, refunds, and exchanges with high attention to detail Respond to customer reviews and monitor online reputation Follow up on voicemails and missed calls promptly Process and monitor all orders across multiple platforms (Amazon, Shopify, eBay etc) Supervise fulfilment team member and ensure order accuracy Download and analyse sales data for accurate stock forecasting Conduct regular stock checks and manage inventory levels Identify trends in customer inquiries, returns, and reviews Report product issues, demand changes, and website problems to the owner Monitor competitor activity and report relevant insights Analyse sales performance across different channels Handle B2B orders and wholesale customer requirements Use design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) for product imagery and marketing materials Person Specification: 3 years experience in ecommerce operations (Amazon, Shopify, eBay experience essential) Advanced computer skills across multiple platforms and software Exceptional attention to detail - accuracy is critical in our business Excellent written and verbal communication for customer-facing interactions Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Proactive problem-solver who can work independently with minimal supervision Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) Please call the team on 01271 343222 for more information, or apply online today!
