Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will be assisting our Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. If you have a passion for culinary excellence and enjoy working and leading a team, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
* Plan and execute menus in accordance with our restaurant's concept and standards
* Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and portion sizes
* Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet our high standards
* Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
* Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety procedures
* Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
* Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
* Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required

Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour
