Key Account Manager
We are looking for a proactive, commercially aware Key Account Manager to join a friendly, close-knit team in Wakefield. This is a permanent hybrid role, you will be office based 3 days a week and home based two, although national travel is required.
You'll take full responsibility for managing and growing key retail accounts, with a focus on building strong customer relationships, driving sales, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The ideal person will be commercially astute, have a proven track record of meeting targets and have previously dealt with Asda.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage key retail accounts and drive account growth.
* Build strong relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and technologists.
* Oversee new product development and seasonal launches.
* Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure seamless service and delivery.
* Deliver accurate forecasting, costing, and profit analysis.
* Support quality issue resolution and ensure high service standards.
* Travel to customer/supplier sites and locations as needed.
