Hours of Work: 30 hours per week – 08:30am to 02:50pm, term‑time only
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified childcare practitioner to join our over‑subscribed “Outstanding” nursery. This role is open to early years practitioners with a full and relevant Level 2 or 3 early years qualification and a demonstrable work history in a childcare environment. You will work with children aged between 2 and 4 years as part of the nursery team, providing safe, high‑quality education and care.
Responsibilities
* Act as a keyworker for a small group of children, delivering exceptional care.
* Liaise closely with parents/carers and ensure each child’s needs are recognised and met.
* Teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation.
* Help set up and tidy away at the end of the session.
* Attend meetings and training courses as appropriate.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties directed by the room lead.
Qualifications & Experience
* Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 early years qualification.
* Demonstrable work history in a childcare setting.
* Passion for working with children and a caring, enthusiastic attitude.
