WSR are recruiting for a Management Accountant for our reputable client based in Milton Keynes.
Role Title: Management Accountant
Salary: £36k, plus generous allowances
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid working available)

You’ll play a key role in shaping financial decisions, supporting both operational and capital plans, and helping to deliver accurate, audit-ready accounts.
Management Accountant Key Responsibilities:
Provide financial oversight and support across a diverse project landscape
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and government regulations
Deliver monthly management information reports to enable strategic decision-making
Lead quarterly financial forecasting and support long-term planning activities
Conduct deep-dive financial analysis to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Maintain accurate reporting and recovery of labour costs across departments
Support the development of both operational and capital expenditure proposals
Drive benefit tracking and assist in shaping annual business plans
Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial processes and reporting systems
Management Accountant Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Qualified (Chartered) accountant or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Proven experience in management or project accounting
Strong analytical and data evaluation skills
Proficiency in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Oracle (Fusion/Cloud preferred)
Understanding of public sector finance and managing public money
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
