The opportunity
You will be a key part of a matrix marketing team executing the marketing calendar across CRM, Web, App, and third-party channels, working with our partners in IAG Loyalty to maximize the use of British Airways Club and partner channels, and managing online assets.
This role will collaborate closely with the Senior Merchandising Manager and Data Analytics Manager to ensure optimal omni-channel execution and performance across categories including tech, travel, and accessories.
In retail trading, you’ll use creativity to drive awareness and B2C sales revenue from the Avios engaged audience, mainly from airline partners like British Airways Club, Iberia Plus, Aer Lingus AerClub, and Vueling Club.
You will plan, design, and execute compelling B2C marketing communications, primarily via email, coordinated across other channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in direct marketing, with a good understanding of channel performance and digital media in retail and ecommerce.
This role is based in London. We offer a hybrid working approach, called The Blend, providing flexibility to work from the office at least two days a week, with the option to work remotely or from other locations as needed.
What you’ll get up to
* Campaign Planning & Design: Create and maintain detailed campaign plans, including copy and design recommendations for CRM.
* Campaign Delivery: Execute a cohesive communication calendar, ensuring timely development of creative assets, email builds, and campaign execution.
* Personalisation: Collaborate with Data Insight Manager to apply personalisation and propensity modelling, and analyze post-campaign insights such as A/B testing and audience movements.
* Test and Learn: Incorporate testing strategies to optimize activities across channels, including print, OOH, TV, SEM, Display, Affiliates, and CRM.
* Channel Optimisation: Monitor and analyze marketing performance, working with data analysts and e-commerce teams to improve impact and conversion.
* Campaign Collaboration: Work with IAG Loyalty marketing teams to execute and approve campaigns across various channels.
* Creative Management: Oversee the design and production of marketing materials, coordinating with external agencies as needed.
What we need from you
* Experience managing diverse marketing channels, ideally in drinks or grocery retail.
* Experience with cloud-based marketing platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Klaviyo.
* Skills in core marketing areas: OOH, Press, CRM, SEO, PPC, Display, Affiliate, Social.
* Knowledge of ecommerce practices such as content, SEO, CRO, MVT, Web Analytics.
* Experience managing external agencies for marketing and PR activities.
* Highly organized, attentive to detail, proactive in problem-solving, and capable of prioritizing tasks.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in formal and informal settings.
