The Role
A secondary school in Walsall is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their department from February 2026 on a long-term supply basis. The role involves delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of mixed abilities to achieve strong academic outcomes.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum, assessing progress, and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement within the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to gain valuable long-term experience.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
7. Hold QTS (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
8. Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
9. Be confident delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics content
10. Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
11. Be reliable, organised, and committed to pupil progress
