From January 2026, this position will operate on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern (08:00–17:30) with shift allowance on top in the £28,000 salary. Until then, you'll work standard weekday hours without shift allowance. Key duties include: X-Ray Inspection – Digital radiography and CT scanning for anomaly detection Proof Testing – Live testing of assembled components Leak Testing – Helium testing with a mass spectrometer to tight specifications Visual Inspection – Ensuring all units meet rigorous engineering standards Assembly & Marking – Mechanical assembly build and inkjet part marking Packing – Safe, compliant packaging of high-value components Support Tasks – Movement of parts, tooling, and assisting with stock/hardware NDT Operative Profile: Experience in NDT or similar technical inspection roles Confidence reading engineering drawings and technical documentation Familiarity with digital x-ray systems or ASNT Level 1 Radiography (desirable) A proactive, problem-solving attitude and ability to work both independently and collaboratively Strong data analysis and documentation skills Apply now to start a career that’s not just engineering – it’s life-saving.
