Job Title: MEP Construction Manager (Electrical Bias) Location: Harker Substation, Rockcliffe, Carlisle (CA6) Rate: £500–£550 per day (CIS/Umbrella) Start Date: ASAP (flexible for notice periods) Duration: 6 months with potential extension for the right candidates) Hours: 40 hours per week (08:00 – 17:00, Monday–Friday) Job Description: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager (Electrical Bias) to join a major infrastructure project based at Harker Substation near Carlisle. This is a key role on a large-scale project with an overall value of circa £350m, including significant M&E works. You will be responsible for managing the interface between construction and design teams, coordinating across multiple disciplines, and overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP building services.
