Your Role
As a Route Planner in Portbury, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our network running smoothly. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that ensures we deliver exceptional service to our customers. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Optimizing routes to meet operational targets.
* Adapting to daily challenges and unexpected issues with ease.
* Communicating effectively with all stakeholders.
* Balancing the needs of drivers, customers, and account managers.
* Collaborating with depot operational colleagues to refine delivery schedules.
* Analyzing data to identify areas for future improvements.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who is not just experienced, but also passionate about logistics. Here’s what you’ll need:
* Experience in planning with a solid knowledge of the area.
* Understanding of driver working time regulations.
* Familiarity with transport planning software is a plus, but not essential.
* Confidence in using Microsoft Excel and SAP.
* An enthusiastic, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
