Transport Coordinator Responsibilities
* Plan and organise staff availability on our inhouse computerised system ensuring maximum utilisation.
* Compliance of vehicles and staff, including license applications
* Ability to implement instructions whilst understanding and learning the needs of the passengers to ensure smooth operation of transport.
* Ensure that all relevant training is adhered to.
* Be able to understand the logistics of planning the routes geographically within the County based on staff locations.
* Good Administrative skills with attention to detail when updating systems.
* Ability to work well under pressure to meet passenger support demands
Transport Coordinator Requirements
* Experience preferred in Passenger Transport and Logistics but not essential.
* Strong work ethic is essential
* Good Organisational & Planning Skills.
* Be proficient in Excel / Word and collating accurate data.
* Previous experience using computerised systems preferred, but training will be provided.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Needs to be flexible due to nature of the business.
You will report to the Contracts Manager and Area Business Director

The company is responsible nationwide for the home to school transport of over 7000 passengers daily all with varying needs. This role is within a local office/branch.
