Role
The Brain and rare CNS Tumour service is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist to work within the well‑established Clinical Nurse Specialist team. This is a Monday to Friday role, working mainly within the skull base MDT and involving nurse‑led clinics. The post holder will support patients across UCLH sites throughout their pathway.
Qualifications
Potential candidates should have recent experience in an acute Neurosurgery setting, Neuro‑Oncology setting or a cancer specialism with exposure to brain metastases.
The successful applicant is motivated and enthusiastic about the specialist care needs of this patient group, an outstanding communicator, able to demonstrate first‑rate organisational and multitasking skills, and to prioritise effectively in a busy, fast‑paced environment. The candidate must have an ability to support, teach, develop and educate others and possess good leadership skills. They should work well autonomously and as part of a strong multidisciplinary team to deliver and maintain a high‑quality of care.
The successful individual will contribute to the delivery of the Trust and Service objectives, ensuring that care delivered reflects the Trust Vision and Values.
