Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a comfortable and pleasant journey. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Duties
* Operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
* Ensure the bus is well-maintained, performing basic mechanical checks and reporting any issues.
* Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any delays.
* Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Maintain cleanliness within the bus, ensuring a tidy environment for all passengers.
* Keep accurate records of daily trips, including mileage and passenger counts.
* Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely service delivery.
Skills
* Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is advantageous.
* Strong commercial driving skills with a valid driving licence suitable for operating PSV cat D
* Excellent communication skills to interact positively with passengers and colleagues.
* Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine checks on the vehicle.
* Ability to drive various types of vehicles.
* A commitment to providing exceptional customer service while maintaining safety standards.
